    looking for camera and an attachement to take photos of 35mm slides to convert onto digital and onto PC.??

    I would suggest a negative scanner as they are designed specifically for that task.

    I am looking to buy a Canon EOS 1000d, could you possibly help me.

    I am interested to know whether the; Tamron 70-300mm f4/5.6 DI LD Macro (Canon AF), is only a macro lens and cannot be used to take ‘close-up’ shots from ‘far away’?
